Anytime a client/company comes to brandnewname in need of a great domain name for their company, they’ll organize a contest (naming contest) where all the creatives (you and other registered users on the platform) will start submitting names. All names submitted will be presented to the client/company and they’ll pick from it. If your submitted name is picked, you’ll be notified and out of the $250 paid by the client, yours is $200 or sometimes $150.
What’s a tagline?
A tagline is a brief phrase used to relay a brand’s value. Companies use taglines in marketing campaigns and website headers to create a lasting impression on prospects. Taglines tell consumers about the overall company’s objectives without mentioning the product or service they offer. An example of a tagline is, “Where beauties rise, and wrinkles die”. This can be a tagline for a Spa or beauty salon.
What’s tagline Contest?
The process is exactly the same as the naming contest. The client pays for tagline, the platform organizes a tagline contests, you and other creatives submit different taglines, At the end of the contest period, the client select a winning tagline idea from the list of submitted concepts. The person who submits the top tagline is awarded a cash prize, and the client get a memorable tagline for his/her business.
What’s a logo contest?

How to sign up on brandnewname:
- To create an account on brandnewname, go to brandnewname.com
- Scroll down to the bottom page, and click Become a creative or Join our creative community.
On the sign up page, select the second option. That is, I am a creative. This gives you the freedom to participate in all three contests.
Fill in your details, mark the terms of service, and sign up or submit.
How to participate in contests:
Once you have created your account, and logged in. Right in your dashboard, you’ll see the available or active contests you can participate in. Click on any of the contests, read through the instructions. What I mean by instructions is that the company/client will describe what they want. For example, they can say they want a domain name for an educational platform that deals with this and that. From the given information, you can now make your suggestions. You can submit more than one entries.
How to receive payment:
There’s only one payment option or method on brandnewname and it’s Payoneer. I have created my Payoneer account since 2014 and I used my Nigeria details. You can as well create a Payoneer account for yourself, by yourself.
To create an account, go to payoneer, input your details and make necessary verifications.
After creating your payoneer account, go back to your brandnewname account, go to settings. You’ll see connect payoneer. Connect your payoneer account and all your payments will be sent there. You can transfer your money from payoneer to your bank account.
There is one other platform better than brandnewname. The name of the platform is squadhelp. The advantage is, there’ll always be a contest to participate in on squadhelp, while on brandnewname, you may login once in a while and there’ll be no active contest.
The disadvantage is that you’ll need to register as a creative on squadhelp with $10.
